Yoga The Art of Bending,Stretching and Meditation

Yoga often brings to mind people bent into pretzel  shapes all knotted and twisted. It's true there is often a lot of bending and stretching, and some poses do resemble a pretzel. But, the truth is yoga provides a great measure of strength and balance for both your body and your mind. My physical limitations still allow me to enjoy the benefits of yoga. Yoga is not a religion it is an exercise for body and mind. Meditation for me is often simply prayer.

Hatha Yoga or Yoga of Postures is the one I am most familiar with. It is Yoga that uses physical poses, Breathing Techniques, and Meditation to achieve better health, as well as spirituality. There are many styles of this type of yoga. If what you want is a peaceful mind and a healthy body to go along with it, Hatha Yoga may just be the path for you. It is with this in mind that I create items for my Be Well Gifts shop.
